Summary/Abstract: This paper is the Romanian version of the article entitled “The Actuality of Some Principles and Ideas of Law Philosophy Issued by Mircea Djuvara”, published in the Journal of Legal Studies, 21(35):38-51, 2018. The author analyses some of the essential philosophical dimen sions of Mircea Djuvara’s works – as M. Djuvara (1886-1945) was among the most profound and original European philosophers of law, in the first half of the 20th century. Mircea Djuvara’s writings on the foundations of legal culture, the logical principles of legal knowledge, the differences between legal and political, the legal structure of modern capitalism, the nature of laws, the autonomy of moral and legal knowledge, the rational character of legal knowledge are in compliance with the to European values of democracy and human ism, having an original character. As an erudite theorist and practitioner of law, Djuvara demonstrated the action value of his philosophy, but also its topicality/permanence in the perspective of building the rule of law, democracy and a rational and equitable international legal structure.
