Summary/Abstract: The paper analyses a relation between the contents of fine arts and the content of music, and how visual contents can be integrated into the music culture teaching in order to contribute to the improvement of the perception of musical works in children. As a goals of music education is to understand the work of Serbian musical heritage and musical heritage of other nations (perception of music), the integration of visual content in the music culture teaching contributes to the improvement of music education in the broadest sense. The introductory part of the paper lists the characteristics of music education, its goals and the importance of music (artistic) content for the general education process and beyond, for the holistic development of children. Special attention is paid to the importance of sensory stimulation in children starting from the earliest age, the syncretism of arts and visual contents in the music culture teaching. The end of the paper provides proposals for the activities and content of fine arts in function of improving music education. Content in the fieldof music art requires a serious relationship and complex research in all directions with a single goal: to create a solid and broad scientific basis, and to provide the widest possible public attention and support for further work on their improvement.
