Summary/Abstract: Our study aims to bring to the attention of researchers interested in the history of the Balkans in general and that of the Aromanian communities in particular a demographic investigation completed in the years of the Second World War by Professor Constantin Nicolescu. Although a researcher little known for his concerns about the Aromanians, his manuscript represents, due to the proposed quantitative data, a unique investigation into the complicated issue of the number of Aromanians.
