CATEGORIZATION OF TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSES TOWARD FIRE HAZARDS

Summary/Abstract: It is well known that there is a constantly present risk of fire and explosion from explosive mixtures of industrial plants, technological processes, storage of hazardous solid, liquid and gaseous substances. Some technologies, as well as technological processes, are characterized by the use and processing of flammable substances, more or less fire-hazardous, as well as procedures that can lead to fire.This paper presents the categorization of technological processes of fire hazard, and toward the fire load and degree of the fire hazard, as well as modern most commonly used fire fighting systems.
