DEVELOPMENT OF ROAD TRAFFIC THROUGH HISTORY

Summary/Abstract: Knowledge of the history of transport connections and the importance of an area, as a logistics center, in the development of a particular area, is important for all those who in any way participate in the planning process of transport and logistics, but also development in general, design and implementation of projects and their parts or understanding transport and logistics networks. Traffic geographical position and natural geographical features of Požeština are suitable for the development of transport networks and can be favorably valorized, but this area throughout history, especially the closer one, has often been neglected and isolated by modern transport connections, which becomes a decisive moment for importing into important corridors located near it (approx. 35 kilometers). The paper investigates the history of the road network since the one is a basic transport branch, ie railway transport as still represented, has long lost its primacy over the road, and other aspects do not play a significant role (air transport, only rarely for agriculture or forestry in the function of forest protection or agricultural crops) or do not exist at all (river).
