Summary/Abstract: The article presents the series of works by the plastic artist Mihai Mungiu about Chișinău. Reflecting atmospheres or seasonal states, evoking representative hypostases of the older city or new ones, they have left testimonies from different times. Some images of Chișinău only exist in his memories and art. In this sense, the creation of the painter Mihai Mungiu can be considered a depository of memory. Mihai Mungiu is an artistic fix for the real identity of Chișinău, which cannot be separated from its past.
