Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the life and work of sculptor Mikhail Katz (1889–1964), active in the 1920s and 1960s in Rome, Sweden and Bulgaria. There is no monograph or scientific material to present his essence as an artist. The study focuses on specific monuments, realized in Stockholm, Moscow and Bulgaria - thematic and free sculptures, participated in General art exhibitions at home and abroad, some of which are now owned galleries, museums and private collections, others, unfortunately - destroyed during the shastic terror, and others remain unclear. The article is considered unpublished and hitherto unexplored archival materials - documents, letters, photos.
