- Summary/Abstract:The famous writing Communing with himself of the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius reveals itself to us today as a work of present interest, not only seen as a philosophical guide for the state rulerʼs life, but also under the feature of a psychological handbook sui generis that regulates the communication between rational beings and their self, and the world, in every historical time. This aspect has been grasped by Gabriel Liiceanu, who writes that Communing with himself is a treatise on techniques of improvement and restraint of oneʼs ego. But the remarkable thing is that the desideratum to acquire and improve the control on the egoʼs adverse phenomena (such as, for instance, carelessness, hatred, envy, the desire for revengeor glory etc.) applies both to sovereigns and their subjects (common people). In our view, the major consequence of this controlʼs success – in exceeding the Stoic presuppositions of Marcus Aurelius – is a better communication with others and with the self, the last one being made better just through the improvements of the first one.

- Summary/Abstract:The art of communication is not a natural process or an ability we are born with. We learn to communicate. Concept and preoccupation of great topicality, the communication style raises a number of problems that require methodological caution: the need for a better operationalization of the concept, approaching the phenomenon in all its complexity, relating the style to the context in which it is applied. More appropriate than looking for the "best style" is to find the "optimal style" that streamlines the relationship between leaders and subordinates. The communication style must be appropriate to the purpose and objectives of the communication, the recipient, the situation and the context of the communication (Pruteanu, 2006).

- Summary/Abstract:The article addresses the need to form the aesthetic taste of primary school students, as the presence of arts in education is based on the need to create a cultural capital, with all the associated positive effects, but also to pursue the collateral benefits that arts insertion can have on learning, teaching and assessment of certain school subjects. The formation of cultural consumer behaviors and of a cultural capital market are objectives of modern didactics, as it is found in all normative regulations based on the concept of aesthetic taste. Being an objective of aesthetic education, aesthetic taste is required to be achieved through all types of teaching and extracurricular activities in order to form intellectual feelings, moral beliefs and other aspects of the structure of human personality. The cultivation of sensitivity through aesthetic taste ensures favorable premises for the realization of the educational ideal.

- Summary/Abstract:A school is part of the social environment, from which influences operate directly and indirectly. The school and the environment interact openly and dynamically. On the other hand, the social environment influences the school. Influence may or may not stimulate the development of school goals. On the other and, a school can never escape the forces of the environment. Schools, in turn, are able to influence the environment. The interaction between the school and the external environment requires constant attention from management. The continuous survival of the school depends on how the management team adapts it to external conditions. Specifically, the influence is given by the relationships in which the school engages with different individuals, different groups and organizations in the community.

- Summary/Abstract:This debate is part of a doctoral research plan in the field of psychology applied to theater actors, in which I would like to analyze the factors that are involved in the performance of the actor on stage. To the same extent, I aim to identify the relationship between theatrical acting and social acting, the formation and determination of the preferred style of interpretation of the character and the application of coping strategies to actors. I also analyze cognitive changes, behavioral efforts, and the management of specific external and / or internal emotional situations. Training the actors through coping strategies can be an additional determining factor to remove anxiety, to get inner relaxation and at the same time to improve the concentration, which help them to achieve a combination of spontaneity, commitment, and awareness and finally to achieve a high-performance.

- Summary/Abstract:The connotations of the term individualism have been debated many time throughout history, giving it a wide range of meanings, more vague or more precise, depending on those who use it - historians, writers, anthropologists, philosophers of social sciences, politics or political theorists. Each gave it its own meaning and thus integrated it into their work. The promoters of individualism have as their ultimate goal the individual goals and desires, in other words, individualism is the opposite of holism, collectivism, totalitarianism, which support the community objectives of society. The last part of the twentieth century was the period when neoclassical market policies began to dominate the globe. This was due to two series of major events: the crisis of the welfare state and the fall of communism. The triumphalist spirit of this age, present in works such as Francis Fukuyama's "The End of History and the Last Man" was the New Spirit of the New Age. The term individualism was the one that best captured this spirit better than any other.

- Summary/Abstract:Considering as premise the playwriting of William Shakespeare being one of the touchstones of humanities, in this study we will rise the question about the method through which the work of the classic writer became a way of the contemporary society to reflect some of its most polemized, keen, difficult or challenging topics. Going on, a necessary answer will be given regarding the fact that the plays of the English author get today rather the utilitarian aspect in the scenic approach or if, in fact, there are more nuanced positioning. And there are, as we can not put aside the way that artists are often perceiving the message in a whole, not only on the edge of social, documentary or politic theatre. Therefore, what is it transmitted to us and what do we transmit to history when Shakespearean plays are staged in refuges camps or when debating the veteran’s status. In our approach we will focus on some main artistic directions or forum theatre examples: Love’s Labour’s Lost directed by Corinne Jabel at Kaboul in 2005, the Hamlet Globe Théâtre's production directed on refuges camp in Calais, in 2016, and also Macbeth directed by Peter Callender or the one directed by Amy Attaway from 2019, both talking about the veteran’s or vulnerable groups status. But we believe that each of those visions are simply emphasizing the idea that the great literature fights for fundamental humanist and moral principles.

- Summary/Abstract:Interpersonal communication is one of the indispensable conditions for the functioning and organization of society, as the individual is a social being and relates to the other insofar as he communicates with it. Gender relations play an important role in interpersonal communication. Gender relations means the sum of conceptions, elaborated socially and culturally, regarding the man/woman difference, the power and inequality that structure the reproduction of these differences in the institutionalized practices of society. The notion of gender varies from a historical point of view and is one of the ways in which states are imagined, constituted and legitimized, because gender instincts can be partially explained in political terms, thus there are male and female cultures, as well as a difficulty of communication between representatives of different cultures.

- Summary/Abstract:During the guilty plea negotiations, ensuring a real communication between the prosecutor and the defendant is essential, in order for the latter to fully understand the consequences of the deal. The presence of a lawyer is meant to facilitate this. Still, a certain psychological pressure on the defendant may exist while guilt is accepted as stipulated in the agreement. Because this procedure takesplace during the arraignment, the defendant may assimilate the act of being sent into court with settling a certain degree of guilt for him, perceived as bigger than it really is. There is even a risk for an innocent person to accept the deal, only to insure the application of favorable circumstances in his case.

- Summary/Abstract:Communication designates the basis of interpersonal connections manifested by the ability to permanently interpret the meaning of social contacts made with the help of symbols and social-generalized meanings in order to achieve balance or changes in individual or group behavior. A complex and universal phenomenon, communication can be analyzed from various theoretical perspectives. It can be explained by psychologists as behavior, by sociologists as a determined factor of socialization, by anthropologists as a means of accomplishing and transmitting culture, by semioticians as a process of adjustment and reconfiguring the meanings of signs, etc. Living creatures communicate in one form or another, but humans are the only beings who use language. It can be considered a structured system of symbols - words - used to communicate meanings. Although the vast majority of people are born with verbal skills, language needs to be learned, and language skills improve as they are practiced and learned about, as are most skills acquired. Words are fundamental elements of verbal communication and have a profound influence on how we relate to others. Finding the right word can be difficult in the most common circumstances, but using language appropriately makes it easier to achieve goals in interpersonal relationships and beyond.

- Summary/Abstract:Since ancient times, communication has been perceived as a fundamental element of human existence. The very etymology of the term suggests this: the word “communication” comes from Latin, “communis” means “to agree”, “to be in touch with” or “to be in a relationship”, although the term circulates in the vocabulary of the ancients with the meaning to “pass on to others”, “to share something with others”. The communication process is one of the indispensable conditions for the functioning and organization of society. The individual is called a social being and relates to the other insofar as he communicates with the other. Interpersonal communication is the most important and most frequently used form of communication. People cannot avoid this type of communication; their social existence depends on the ability with which they can engage in discussions with others. Family life, relationships with friends, professional activity, all depend on this quality. Interpersonal communication refers to face-to-face communication. This type of communication is important to understand yourself and to build your relationships with others. To achieve this, the capacity for self-analysis, selfknowledge, self-exposure and knowledge of barriers and disruptive factors that hinder the communication process must be developed. Not every relationship with a person is interpersonal. Most of the relationships we have with our peers are impersonal. In these interactions, the interlocutor is approached exclusively in terms of his social status or the role he plays in the given situation, without taking into account his individual features that give him uniqueness.

- Summary/Abstract:In contemporary society it is well known the stigmatization of people withmental illness, and even more so of alcohol or drug users. To this stigma is added thepossible legal problems that some of these people have. But, in addition to these twosources of stigma, a role in amplifying it is played by the person's own perception ofhow those who have similar problems to his or her are stigmatized. Perception ofstigma at a high level is a barrier in recognizing problems due to addictivebehaviors, in accessing specialized care services, in making a change in personalbehavior, in establishing a therapeutic relationship between client and counselor. Onthe other hand, the stigmatization of these people by the community in general andby some specialists in the field of care, only keeps the phenomenon of drug use on astrong growth trend. Therefore, in addition to programs to reduce the stigma ofpeople with addictive behaviors, it is desirable to streamline public communicationof specialists in the field of addiction, on various topics specific to this field and alsoto assess the level of perception of the stigma of these people, which may influencethe answers provided to other types of questionnaires, namely the results andconclusions of the psychological evaluation. At the same time, the interpersonalcommunication of the dependent person with the counselor or with the familymembers needs an improvement and /or a change regarding the terms used, the wayof interaction and the nonverbal behavior.

- Summary/Abstract:The whole universe works based on the transmission and reception of information. This information can be transmitted in various forms and is transported by various means. Some of them are little known and others very little known. Communication through mass media or even directly between people is dependent on the content in meanings and symbols. Transmission-reception stations cannot operate if they are not synchronized on the same frequency. The idea of synchronization between the brains sheds light on a method of subconscious communication full of meaning and creative ideas. This kind of communication can be reactivated because it is already in the drawers of the subconscious. This communication continues to "broadcast" from childhood throughout the rest of one’s life, and the human being only has to find the right frequencies to decipher it. Subconscious communication is not new, but it is very little addressed and really put into practice. The paper proposes recommendations for synchronized interpersonal communication (theoretically based on the latest studies and experiments) through which an ancestral type of communication is used.

The screen, this friend of contemporary people, it gathers us at various online events, it invites us at virtual discussions and even at work. However, the virtual communication forms a distance between persons, and the hug, which normally, it heals the sadness and fear, it becomes a memory or a longing.

The human beingrealized that it cannot compete with the power of the universe. Unable to conquer itsforces, energies, beasts, elements, mankind wanted to tame them. Or at least to findsome explanations for them, in order to possess knowledge on how to avoid them. The human race tried to grasp the enigma of lightning and thunder peal, the mysteryof earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, it tried to decipher the secrets of the worldthat’s invisible to the human eye, to unravel the riddles of metaphysics. An elementof the intangible that caught the attention of the human societies is genius loci/spiritus loci. Over the past centuries, the Latin expression “genius of the place/ spiritof the place” has earned various acceptances.Regardless of the multiple meanings of the phrase, “genius loci” alwaysinteracted with people that attempted to peacefully communicate with the telluricenergy. This mutual conditioning is found in multiple literary works, from variouscontinents. The writers of the magic realism illustrated the human being’sdependence over a certain place, but also the human’s mark over a terrestrialsurface.
