- Summary/Abstract:An extremely interesting and captivating aspect is that of the conceptions on numbers in the great schools of thought of European culture, similar to those in Asia, Africa, the two Americas, Australia and Oceania. With immemorial roots, these theories regarding the nature and purpose of numbers in the manifest world have always had a complex nature, which included philosophical, mathematical, theological, as well as artistic aspects. "Cultural archaeology" studies I have been conducting over two decades have confronted me with the evidence of such a compositional and symbolic science which supposes the conjugation of certain doctrinaire elements with their geometric and symbolic projections, as well as relationships with multiple areas of existence, the numerical principles of this sacred science being found in the constituting patterns of the vegetal or animal realm, while also conditioning the growth proportions of the human body.

- Summary/Abstract:Our paper aims at analysing the notion of the “city” as a track in Abdelwahab Meddeb’s work, starting from Aya dans les villes (Montpellier, Fata Morgana, 1999), seeing the trace as a mnemonic indicator leading, in Meddeb’s case, to the abolishing of One origin and, de facto, to the revelation of the origin disseminated here and there. Our reflection proceeds, mathematically, to smoothing, and therefore, philosophically, to deconstructing the traces included/folded in the corners and recesses of the cities visited and revisited by the narrating-character. The city, as we consider it here, functions as a metaphor of the trace of belonging to the universally human and to the humanly composite. This is what we aim drifting into: dealing with the poetics of the spatial hybrid (the city) evoked and stipulated by the temporal hybrid (the memory), containing traces as folds.

- Keywords:psychotherapy; circular questions; circular map; metaphor diagram; circular mental processes;
- Summary/Abstract:The idea of circularity is present in psychology and psychotherapy. The paper identifies and explains the ways in which circularity is applied in various psychotherapies: as a therapeutic principle, as a question, clinical model, map of change, metaphor, diagram, layers of thought and dysfunctional circular movements. The circular modes of human interaction show the complexity of relationships within family systems, the circular map of change states the therapeutic objectives, stages, skills and results, the diagram of trauma intervention outlines a useful and practical tool, the layers of dysfunctional thought and the trajectory of circular movements reflect the mechanisms that underlie psychological disorders. We believe that circularity in psychotherapy is associated with complex processes and its representations are suggestive in rendering what is difficult to understand, complicated and multi-dimensional.

- Summary/Abstract:What does the hairy ball theorem have in common with one of the most famous French poets of all time? Going around Charles Baudelaire’s words, can one come across topology? And working around the idea of infinity, can one come across the transdisciplinary embrace of both metaphors and functions? From literary tropes to fixed points, from Baudelaire to Brouwer, and from the concrete to the abstract, this paper sets out to playfully explore the invisible lines uniting together, around and across, the power of poetics and the beauty of mathematics.

- No. of Pages:7
- Keywords:dictionary use; the lexical level of scientific language; neoclassical elements; lexical/morphological analysis; terms;
- Summary/Abstract:The students from the technical faculties of the Technical University do not normally take interest in the language they use, and least of all in that used in their lectures and seminars. Thus, they simply fail to understand that the terms they use are analysable, much like mathematical formulas; similarly, they ignore the existence and the functions of terminologies, which are all based on Greek and Latin classical elements. The ability to analyse morphologically the terms which they encounter in their studies enhances their general ability to think logically and analytically; moreover, knowledge of the classical languages will open new cultural horizons to those who understand them. This paper argues in favour of this kind of novel activity in the foreign language classes – analysing the terms that they encounter in their foreign language texts or during their lectures, they can then compile lists of common prefixes and suffixes, they can compare terms in the foreign languages they know. Such activities can further engender stimulating cultural discussions. There are several examples and further suggestions in the paper.

- No. of Pages:11
- Keywords:Hadhra; ritual; perception; movement; rhetoric;
- Summary/Abstract:In Tunisia, as in the Maghreb, the ancient performing arts consist mainly of instrumental vocal music, theater, sung poetry and other forms of oral and bodily expression including music, the art of speech and storytelling, and Sufi dances. These artistic forms cover many cultural expressions that constitute the intangible cultural heritage of each country. Among these sacred ancestral forms, we cite La Hadhra, which is a show based mainly on Sufi songs accompanied by dance movements. This show, originally sacred, continues to be adapted by several Tunisian artists in order to modernize it and bring it to the taste of the public. This modernization occurs mainly through the addition of new scenic, aesthetic and musical elements which leads us to witness the passage of the Hadhra from ritual to spectacular.

- Summary/Abstract:The study aims to investigate the ethical dilemmas specific to the teaching activity carried out in the context of the pandemic situation generated by COVID 19. We conducted some qualitative research with university professors who work at Gheorghe Asachi Technical University. From a methodological point of view, we selected the opinion questionnaire and the group interview as ways to gather information. We chose this way of working because the topic we treated is not easy and is more suitable for qualitative approaches. The group consisted of 29 teachers, who participated in the two organized group interviews and answered the proposed questionnaire.

- Keywords:circle; Flaubert; Emma Bovary; death; love;
- Summary/Abstract:Located either in the centre or on the periphery of the vital circle of the men who cross her existence (Charles, Leon, Rodolphe), Emma Bovary often remains without direction and all that she knows in her short life is made of vicious circles. And yet, nothing announced it. Emma is a young girl, beautiful, fed with romantic dreams and hopeless hopes. Anything that could have saved her destroys her. In Madame Bovary, this emblem full of significant resources will be broken, destroyed, annihilated, hoped for, dreamed of and redone with an art that only Gustave Flaubert could be capable of. It is true that this dance of feelings, sensations, desires and falls brought him a trial, but also an irrefragable posterity.
Strategia circulară a campaniei de comunicare și relațiile publice
Strategia circulară a campaniei de comunicare și relațiile publice
(The Circular Strategy of Communication Campaigns and Public Relations)
- Author(s):Florentina Popa
- Language:Romanian
- Subject(s):Social Sciences, Communication studies
- Page Range:119-132
- No. of Pages:11
- Keywords:brand; values; mission; vision; circular strategy;
- Summary/Abstract:Public relations are the creators and guarantees of the brand’s image through the permanent blending of the two components which are simultaneously perceived by the public – the logical component, based on beliefs and convictions, and the psychological component, based on emotions and values. The way in which these two components combine results in the brand’s unitary image. The brand’s credibility is given by its logical component, which creates safety and trust, while the emotional component stimulates the individual’s desire to interact with the organization either as the company’s employee and/or consumer of its products and services. Communication and public relations campaigns are important activities in promoting the brand image and their strategies are thought out to be circular, the organizing process is dynamic, continuous and cyclical so that the assessment stage represents project validation, but it also becomes the source of the first step of the next campaign as it completes the research stage with the new information it brings from the development of the previous campaign. The paper will analyse public relations communication strategies from the perspective of parameters influencing the communication process according to Meletzke’s model.

- No. of Pages:9
- Keywords:literary-artistic axiology; reading process; reader; literary-artistic text; literary-artistic value;
- Summary/Abstract:The paper presents a comparative study that aims at the sometimes problematic cyclicality of axiological education (literary-artistic axiology) approached from various perspectives. The motivation for the investigation of the literary-artistic axiology of students in the context of studying texts from foreign literatures is determined by both theoretical and practical premises. Western specialists in the field of reading process define literary-artistic values according to several perspectives, each discovering a determining factor, deduced from the nature of the participants in the reading process: the author of the literary-artistic text, the literary text, the concrete reader / the virtual reader, to which is added the overlap of the social experience in a certain field, the ethical, political and ideological social approaches, as well as the philosophical, artistic, theoretical-literary dogmas and systems, etc.

- Summary/Abstract:Communication is a complex phenomenon inevitable to society. Lately, one has noticed a noticeable rise in the interest towards both the theme of communication, in general, as well as in that of intercultural communication, in particular, at the individual level as well as at the level of the group interactions. Intercultural communication comprises universal elements, as well as specific ones, operating at various levels, generating a variety of communicative behaviours and leading to certain types of communicational necessities, greatly impacting what speakers perceive and how they perceive. The subject 'Romanian Language and Literature' is a strong means and an appropriate educational medium for intercultural education to take place in, it develops the intercultural communication skills, it creates intercultural attitudes. Thus, intercultural communication is a process which can be successfully guided, developed, adjusted by teachers during Romanian Language and Literature classes.

La « géographie » des textes lecléziens
("Geography" of Le Clezio's Texts)
- Author(s):Mihaela Iuliana Dudeanu
- Language:French
- Subject(s):Language and Literature Studies, Studies of Literature, French Literature
- Page Range:155-164
- No. of Pages:8
- Keywords:linearity; circularity; space; biography; alter ego;
- Summary/Abstract:J-M. G. Le Clézio’s literary work is built around several recurrent elements that have us think of the author’s biography and how he perceives and uses, in his texts, various places from all over the world. However, as we are following his characters, we notice that they share a path with their creator. In this study we attempt to retrace their steps in order to identify the type of movement that governs them, and see if the characters leave without returning or if, on the contrary, they feel the need to return to the same place.

- Keywords:present vs past vs future; multiverse; diegetic level; cyclic time; linear time;
- Summary/Abstract:Our main objective in the present paper is to analyse how time is understood and reflected in some theological and some literary examples, while connecting these perspectives with how science, on the other hand, understood and reflected this dimension of our universe, in different historical periods. We use in our analysis three scientific sources in which the transdisciplinary or the vulgarisation approaches prevail, from which we extract the physical explanations and models. Our starting point is that fiction and religion are often annexes to science in the paradigm of knowledge, as they ask questions and propose answers, in accordance with their own rules, distinct from the ones that science puts forward, but which wonderfully converge so often, that the mirroring is worth bringing to light. Our approach focuses on three main topics, i.e. the issue of the beginning/ending of the universe, the past-present relationship, and the existence of the ‘multiverse’ in relation to the existence of the multiple universes as treated by narratology.
