Summary/Abstract: The book Digital information curatorship as universal educational approach offers a largely interdisciplinary approach that combines tradition associated with information science (especially working with information, information behavior, information retrieval and personal information management) with pedagogical themes (PLE, connectivism, e-learning). At the same time, we rely on information from building digital libraries, philosophy of education, or foundations Applied Informatics. It is this connection I consider as one of the possible positive or unusual approach to the whole issue. The publication proceeds from themes rather informational sciences and those relating to education, to the technical aspects of the implementation of such an approach. This is not a separated approach but tries to point out their continuity, consistency, specific binding.
