Summary/Abstract: In the era of big data, the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI), understanding the importance of data and learning about the ways of effective data processing determines the future of most companies on the market. The way data is perceived in the business environment is changing, so it is worth keeping up to date with trends relevant to vital business data. Business analytics allows you to make more conscious decisions that are important in achieving competitive advantage and doing business. The aim of the publication is to familiarize readers with how IT and telecommunications technologies support management. Issues such as data architecture, database theory and in particular database design as well as the use of SQL to create databases and formulate queries have been discussed.
