Summary/Abstract: The educational ideal aims at the development and formation of honest people, complex personalities characterized by tolerance, respect, continuous development. But, for this, it is necessary not only the education that is achieved in the institutionalized framework, but also through extracurricular activities, because it must dominate the educational influences, often harmful, of the street education, of the informal, diffuse, spontaneous education. Research shows that a continuous / permanent concern is needed for the effective combination of the two types of education, formal and non-formal (through extracurricular activities). Carrying out extracurricular activities (component of non-formal education) to support the achievement of finalities in official documents has become a priority. The results of our research show that by getting involved in extracurricular activities, young people tend to become more responsible for their own training, to get involved in making decisions by combining the cognitive component with the behavioral one.
