Summary/Abstract: Modern communication employs different semiotic codes: text coexists with image, sound, movement, gesture. The syncretism and hybridization of form is possible thanks to technological progress and new media. This text aims to trace the interrelation of language with other semiotic systems in the context of various forms of expression present in the multimodality of new media.
