Summary/Abstract: The author discusses the challenges faced by public diplomacy in China. Describing the Chinese context in detail, he elaborates on teaching Polish as a foreign language in the Middle Kingdom. Referring to the works of experts in international studies, he considers including the glottodydactytic experience in diplomatic practice and, as a result, he calls for the inclusion of Polish glottodidactics in public diplomacy tools.
