Summary/Abstract: The article is a research report on difficulties in implementing selected assumptionsof regional education in pre-school and primary school. The results compelled the authors toreflect on the quality of professional teachers’ performance of tasks (and problems that hinder orprevent the process) related to cultivating regional traditions of the local communities in whichthey work. The conclusions of the said reflections constitute the main topic of the present study.
