Summary/Abstract: The paper will present an overview of the constructions with dative clitics for mental experiences in the Bulgarian language. Their specificity is that they include in their syntactic and semantic structure the so-called ‘dative subject’, which may be expressed by a dative clitic or a dative noun group. This construction possesses several specific features on a morphological, syntactic and semantic basis that will be taken into account and discussed.
