Summary/Abstract: The research probe analyzing a part of the final theses of Secondary School Teacher Training at Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic) focuses on the criteria - the theme of the work, the research method. Future teachers of vocational subjects have a diverse focus and this also has an impact on the choice of final thesis topics. The question is, if any topics are repeated more often, and in which thematic groups would it be possible to sort out the final works. Another criterion examined is the research method used to process diploma theses, their diversity and frequency of use. The research probe is carried out on a sample of 193 theses submitted in the period 2014 - 2018.
