Summary/Abstract: The paper presents results of the research that took place at music schools in the first half of 2018 throuh a form of questionnaire survey. The pupils' real knowledge of music theory was explored and particular interest was focused on what do they like and appreciate on music theory subject and also with what from the subject are they dissatisfied and what do they miss.
