Summary/Abstract: The use of information technology in an innovative and creative way is available by using a micro:bit, Arduino or some other microcomputers. The correlation between school subjects has been shown in this work, as well as the collaboration and teamwork between students of different ages by using microcomputers. The goal is to motivate students to start programming from the earliest age. This process enables developing and strengthening of digital competencies, critical thinking, different age peering, mathematical and language 547skills. Older students' helping to the younger ones alleviates the gap between lower and upper grades students. The third and fourth grade students in additional Computer studies lessons perform programming tasks from the following subjects (Bosnian/Crotian/Serbian language and literature, Mathematics, My Environment, Music, Art, Physical education/Sport) using micro:bit and Arduino devices. In certain lessons, lower-grade students used already programmed microcomputers with pre-programmed tasks, which they used as a teaching tool or an aid. After finishing the workshop of the microcomputers use, students were presented the code they used in the task, and were shown in the simpliest way how they can make certain corrections in the code. Since the students of the third grade are already acquainted with algorithmic thinking in Computer studies lessons, this kind of work enables them to be more prepared to enter the world of programming.
