- Summary/Abstract:Inclusion is the active, intentional and continuous engagement about diversity. Inclusive education is a process that aims to overcome barriers to participation and learning, and to respond to diversity by creating situations in which all children and young people can learn and experience competence, autonomy and belonging. The essence of inclusive education is to ensure that everyone has access, participation and achievement. In practice, inclusive education refers to a wide range of processes that seek to achieve the universal right to quality, relevant and appropriate education. Inclusive education is not about teaching a person how to deal with an education system that does not respond to a person's needs, but inclusive education, teaching forms, methods and techniques, curricula, teaching staff and pedagogical support are adapting to learning of all. Removing or reducing barriers to learning and student participation applies to all teaching resources. It is important to recognize them and use them purposefully, because there are always more resources than are used in teaching, precisely from a narrow understanding of what and who can be a resource in providing opportunities for participation and learning. Differentiation in teaching should be based on the competencies of teachers to recognize and respond to the needs of students through learning processes, while providing different ways and tools to achieve the set goals. In this process, teachers can apply the principles of universal design in education, which consists of adaptive teaching methods, forms, materials, techniques and strategies that enable effective achievement of learning outcomes for as many students of different educational needs. Universal design in education does not preclude additional adaptations for some students with disabilities. The aim of this paper is to rethink the teaching competencies of teachers at all levels of education in order to ensure quality inclusive education for all.

- Summary/Abstract:Teaching mathematics is a challenge for every modern teacher. The choice of working and teaching methods should not only satisfy the goal and learning outcomes, but also make it easier for students to adopt abstract mathematical concepts, as well as arithmetic operations. In this regard, teachers are constantly looking for new methods aimed at actively involving as many students as possible in teaching of mathematics. Mental arithmetic is a method, but also a tool by which children focus, think, listen and understand what they hear, a way to encourage concentration, an informative process, a way to get to the heart of the problem. The application of the abacus for arithmetic, and later for mental arithmetic, affects the development of both cognitive and intellectual abilities. When all the benefits of mental 63arithmetic are considered, the abacus and abacus calculation should be the foundation of modern education. There are numerous studies that have undoubtedly proven the importance of early learning of abacus work. For the purpose of this case study a research has been conducted which can be used for creating work with students. The aim of the research is to examine and determine if the teachers are familiar with the effect of working on abacus and if they are considering it be involved again in regular education. The obtained results will be used in creating work with primary school students.

- Summary/Abstract:The TIMSS - Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study is conducted within the IEA (International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement). TIMSS is conducted in cycles of 4 years for the fourth and eighth grade of primary education, and the research aims to collect information on student achievement as well as educational frameworks in order to acquaint responsible authorities with the results of learning mathematics and science. In TIMSS 2019 Bosnia and Herzegovina participated at the level of the 4th grade of primary education, and students achieved an average result in mathematics of 452 points and 459 points in science, which is statistically significantly below the average of the TIMSS scale. Almost a quarter of students do not reach the basic level of achievement in mathematics, 24% of them, and it is similar in the sciences where 22% of students have very limited knowledge of scientific facts. For both areas, home learning resources are an important factor in student achievement on mathematics and science tests. 4th grade students from BiH achieved statistically significantly better achievements in mathematics and science in the cognitive domain of reasoning than the average achievement in those areas.

- Summary/Abstract:Word problems play an important role in forming the concepts of basic arithmetic operations.Such tasks are an integral part of mathematics textbooks, which are essential sources in the most classroom-based teaching and learning. The aim of this paper is to analyze textbook sets 78for the second and the third grade of primary school in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to determine the extent to which word problems are represented, especially word problems in a non-mathematical context. The representation of 16 types of elementary word problems on addition and subtraction and 18 types of elementary word problems on multiplication and division in 4 sets of textbooks in Bosnia and Herzegovina is examined. The findings indicate that all types of elementary word problems related to basic arithmetic operations are not adequately represented or distributed in textbooks for the second and the third grade of primary school in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The ratio of word problems in the mathematical and non-mathematical context varies in the considered textbooks. Since the analysis of the content of textbooks is necessary, but not enough to understand the process of teaching and learning mathematics, this research can be seen as a starting point for further research that would focus on the work of teachers in the classroom, as well as the student population and their skills in solving word problems.

- Summary/Abstract:Pred našim očima obrazovanje mijenja svoj obraz, lik. Stoljeće u kojemu živimo označeno je pojmom globalizacije. Dok se s jedne strane dešava ukidanje ograničenja u razmjeni i protoku roba, usluga, ljudskih resursa i ideja, s druge se strane gubi specifičnost lokalne atribucije sadržaja razmjene. Obrazovanje nije pošteđeno aktivnog sudjelovanja u ovom procesu.

- Summary/Abstract:No one was ready for the pandemic that struck us all without notice. Slowly, common everyday jobs became online jobs whenever possible. The education system was not spared either. Classrooms have been replaced by home environment, and everyday teaching activities have also become online activities. It has been a year since we worked in such conditions. Each of us adjusted as best we could. As children / students need activity (which is now kept to a minimum), their interest in teaching content has been considerably reduced. Thinking about how to increase the interest of students, we came to the idea that certain teaching contents could be studied in a totally different environment. After processing the most important contents related to matrices, their practice is carried out through coding and decoding of certain sentences. The mysticism of coding and decoding messages was used to increase students’ motivation, which proved to be very successful. All students, with whom the model that will be presented in the paper was realized, expressed the most positive attitudes towards this way of working, and expressed enthusiasm during the process of encoding and decoding.

- Summary/Abstract:The notion of symmetry is necessary for the development of spatial thinking and geometric relations, but also for the understanding of the science. The concept of symmetry is not included in the curricula of primary education in Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the other hand, the Common Core Curriculum for Mathematics Defined on Learning Outcomes (2015) specifies the learning outcomes in geometry and the corresponding indicators according to which students at the end of the third grade of primary school should recognize and draw shapes that have (axial) symmetry. In this paper, we describe the initial activity in the process 118of developing the concept of axial symmetry and present the results of that activity. Twentytwo pupils of the 4th grade of primary school participated in this case study. They attended classes according to a combined model - online and in the classroom. The analysis of pupils’ graphical works indicates three categories of pupils' actions when drawing axisymmetric figures: procedures that did not result in symmetry, drawing an axis of symmetry and estimating equal distances and folding paper in order to obtain symmetry. The results of the research support the importance of pupils' practical work in the classroom rather online.

- Summary/Abstract:Integrated teaching, as a model of modern teaching work, enables the student to play an active role in the teaching process, and provides him with a complete picture of experiencing and understanding the world, the child's close environment (images of himself and his environment). Besides the intellectual abilities of students, the creativity of the teacher who prepares and implements classes plays a significant role, too. Being aware of a number of shortcomings of subject-hour teaching, we conducted a transfer experimental study with the aim of determining the effectiveness of the impact of integrated teaching in relation to traditional mathematics teaching in the field of forming the initial mathematical concepts set and subset. Our research included the second grade students of primary schools in the Republic of Srpska, which performed integrated teaching, as well as the students of the same age who adopted teaching contents through the traditional organization of the teaching process. Based 140on the data, obtained by ex-post-facto research procedure, we found that there are statistically significant differences in the understanding of the initial mathematical terms set and subset among students of control and experimental classes.

- Summary/Abstract:Many pedagogues have recognized value of freedom and effects of its implementation in school and teaching, reformers of existing school and everybody else who deals with children. Theme of this work is idea of children's freedom and active participation in organization of school and teaching, but it is important to emphasize that it isn't freedom as anarchy but freedom that based on making decisions, realising of consequences and dealing with them, freedom that teaches children to thinking about their act and its coseguences, responsibility, independence and value of complete, human and creative personality. Research strive to found out children's posibilities of active participation and making decision about important things about school's life, working and learning, organization of school and teaching, and it includes 157195 students V- IX grades of primary schools and 18 teachers. Based on the answers, it was determined that the possibilities of free decision-making and participation of students are still significantly neglected. However, respecting the freedom of the child, we lay the foundations for building an institution and a highly stimulating environment in which children are happy to come, happy to stay and spend time, in which they live, play, are active. Based on their own activities and participation, which arise from natural curiosity and interest, they learn about important content, and thus develop into versatile, hardworking, responsible individuals, able to solve life situations and problems for their own benefit and the benefit of the community.

- Summary/Abstract:The phenomenon of ethical reversal in many social sciences and humanities, including the science of literature, recognized as ethical criticism – a critical orientation associated with the ethical characteristics of the text, finds its important role in teaching literature in primary schools. In this context, it seems that children's literature offers many interpretations in the field of ethical criticism, where primary schools should be much more places where it should be discussed about the role of literature in society, its (non) impact on the individual and current social changes, etc. Children's literature and its teaching is a very suitable ground for ethical criticism due to a number of its characteristics, and among the most important are learning about ideology, interculturality and acceptance of difference, etc. In that sense, if a significant part of the approach to literature, from literary theory, through psychological-pedagogical-methodological, to philosophical-social approach to literature agrees in something, it is the fact that there is a significant relationship 190between author – literary work and characters in it – reader. Because of all this, it is inevitable to determine the influence that literature has on the pupil, i.e. on the child as a reader in the process of accepting literature.

- Summary/Abstract:Picture books as the first children's books can be used in various aspects of children's growing up and development. Reading picture books creates a positive family atmosphere, strengthens the connection between parents and children, and develops a child's love for books, develops imagination and strengthens the concentration. Picture books often correspond to the needs of children and teachers in preschool education, and in this sense, problem picture books stand out. They include topics about interpersonal relationships in the family and society, and their focus is on the child. Every picture book often requires an adult reader, and in many cases, problem picture books can help adults to communicate with children on topics that seem difficult for any reason. The contemporary problem picture book opens a multitude of life themes for children and adults, which include experiences in the family, kindergarten, school and other aspects of everyday life. Examples of such picture books are the Croatian problem picture books by Tatjana Gjurković and Tee Knežević. They were published in five different series and speak of happiness, sadness, fear, anger, guilt, shame, humiliation and disappointment. They are analyzed with regard to the subject, motives and dominant emotion that is considered in each picture book. The characteristics of individual emotions and instructions on how to approach a child who is facing such emotions are listed in addition to the demonstration of different series of picture books.

- Summary/Abstract:With the transition to online classes, literature teachers faced a huge challenge, some of them being the way of reading, understanding and interpretation of literary text, developing critical thinking through literature teaching, as well as use of literary terms. Such a complex challenge could be resolved only with systematic use of digital tools which are freely available to teachers worldwide. Not all digital tools are convenient for literature classes, their use depends mainly upon expected outcome. We do have tools which are convenient for reading and understanding of text, but not the tools for the development of critical thinking and learning of literary terms and vice versa. The way of teaching itself is very important in literature classes, and with the transition to the online environment teachers were confronted 238with one more challenge - how to teach literature without it entirely turning into an individual form of work. Again, great help in this case were free digital tools which enabled group or paired work. We also shouldn't dismiss the tools which imply the use of audio and video conversation with students, they have a great role in achieving desired end results in learning. In this paper we will introduce the way of using digital tools in order to reach desired outcomes in literature classes, we will discuss the purposefulness of certain tools and offer the best solutions for online literature teaching.

- Summary/Abstract:All phases of the teaching process have been re-examined and changed for a long time, and technology that has great potential in the field of education has a significant role in that. As digital technologies change the learning and teaching process on a daily basis, in recent years there have been noticeable efforts to strengthen the digital competencies of teachers who will pass this on to their students. Such digital competencies were very much needed by teachers and students, as well as parents in this challenging time of the pandemic, when teaching takes 257place most of the school year at a distance. When it comes to teaching foreign languages, technology can be a useful partner in language learning and help teachers to teach the language more effectively, but also students to master both language and digital competencies. After collecting the data for the purpose of making the theoretical part of the paper, we approached to making the methodological part, which is the basis for empirical research of the problem. Using the methods of theoretical analysis and synthesis, compilation method, descriptive and survey method, we examined the attitudes of foreign language teachers and students about the representation and use of digital tools in language teaching. The aim of the research was to gain the insight into the presence and use of digital tools in foreign language teaching, the willingness and ability of teachers to use these tools in online foreign language teaching more actively, and the impact of such an approach on improving students' skills, language and digital competencies improtant in language teaching. Most students are in daily interaction with digital technologies, so it is necessary for teachers to transfer their interest in new technologies into the teaching process, making it modern and dynamic.

- Summary/Abstract:Assessment is considered an integral segment of education and schooling. It is certainly true of traditional education systems, such as the one in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Teachers, students and their parents are well aware of the importance of marks in the education system in BiH. Apart from internal evaluation, which is carried out by individual teachers, there are also standardised tests and external evaluations of student achievement. Research studies suggest that marks and certain assessment methods may have negative effects on students and the learning process. The focus has shifted from the assessment of learning to the assessment for learning. Instead of traditional marking scales, other assessment methods are used, including student portfolio and self-assessment. In the recent period, more and more educators and scholars are supporting abolishment of marks in schools. The paper compares the assessment aspect of traditional and progressive education models. In addition, it analyses the perception of assessment by English teachers who teach English as a foreign language in secondary schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A survey questionnaire was used as an instrument to obtain relevant data from 88 English teachers who teach in secondary schools (N=88). Also, data were obtain from 2107 secondary school students (N=2107). The quantitative method was used to analyse descriptive statistics data pertaining to the participants, whereas the qualitative method was used to analyse the participants’ answers to open-ended questions in the questionnaire. The conclusion is that in Bosnia and Herzegovina traditional assessment methods are used predominantly. Teachers of English as a Foreign Language also use alternative methods of student assessment. - Summary/Abstract:The Global Scale of English is the first global English language standard which allows teachers to follow students’ progress more easily and accurately. The global company Pearson English invented the Global Scale of English online teacher toolkit which represents an online database of learning objectives and outcomes from different areas of the English language. The Global Scale of English online teacher toolkit allows teachers to choose learning objectives and outcomes more accurately, to adjust teaching materials to students’ knowledge and in that way it enables faster and easier progress in the English language. In order to determine the possibility of applying the Global Scale of English online teacher toolkit in English, a survey was conducted among the English language teachers in our local community. The aim was to determine how many English language teachers are familiar with 315the latest approach in English language teaching and whether they use the mentioned teacher toolkit in their work. The obtained research results can help to improve teachers’ knowledge, so that they get acquainted with these approaches at different levels in our local communities as well. For future and current teachers, the research results can be an incentive to launch an initiative for designing a curriculum based on the Global Scale of English.

- Summary/Abstract:Language is constantly changing, both in time and in space. Changes in language occur especially during the coronavirus pandemic. Considering that due to mentioned pandemic the teaching takes place online, the idea arose to look for new words created during the coronavirus, in the German and Bosnian language, in the course Translation Theory I, and thus make online teaching interesting and creative. For German, the research of the German Language Institute in Mannheim served as a basis, while the equivalents, where they existed, were excerpted by researching online platforms in Bosnian. The result of this comprehensive research is a German-Bosnian corona-glossary. The aim of this paper is to present the results of this extensive research which included about 1400 words. In this regard, this paper will have two objectives: 1. to investigate the representation of word types within both corpora; 2. to explore all semantic fields in which corona-words can be classified (economics, teaching, laws and measures, etc.). The contribution of this paper is in the research of neologisms in both contrasting languages, and in contrastive research in general.

The result of this comprehensive research is a German-Bosnian corona-glossary. The aim of this paper is to present the results of this extensive research which included about 1400 words in German and Bosnian. In this regard, this paper will have two goals: 1. to explore all those words that are already known, have only been given a new meaning (Maskenprflicht"mandatory wearing of a mask" - previously referred exclusively to the rule of dress for going to some carnival entertainment), those words that originated in German and Bosnian during the pandemic (Maskomat / maskomat "machine from which protective masks can be bought"), and words borrowed from other languages (english Lockdown / lockdown); 2. to analyze all those corona-words that have no equivalent in the Bosnian language, and to draw a conclusion in this regard (words, which refer to the economy and the assistance provided by the state, is much less in the Bosnian language). The focus of the contribution of this paper is the improvement of the study of neologisms, both in German and in Bosnian, and contrastive linguistics.

- Summary/Abstract:The world health situation occurring in the spring of 2020 caused most countries to switch from classroom to online and distance learning in a very short time. During this specific form of teaching, it is necessary to regularly monitor student activities by giving feedback on their work and progress and evaluating the achievement of the necessary learning outcomes. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, primary and secondary schools in the Republic of Croatia also switched from classroom to online and distance learning in March 2020. The national television started to broadcast the program called "Škola na trećem" for primary school students. These lessons 355were held in accordance with the curriculum and prescribed teaching plan and program. Classes for lower grades of primary school students were held in the morning and lasted 1 hour per grade. The research data were collected using the technique of observing the lessons of nature and science in the program "Škola na trećem" during one month in 2020. The results show that dominant was frontal instruction, which was expected due to the specifics of online teaching. The most commonly used teaching aids were smart board and school board, with a dominant method of oral presentation. Although practical work is important for understanding complex processes and phenomena, during distance learning it was not used enough. In the lessons broadcast under the title "Škola na trećem", different sources of knowledge were used, and PowerPoint content was most represented. In addition to the observation of lessons, a survey for teachers (N = 180) was used to explore their attitudes towards distance learning. The teachers point out the advantages and disadvantages of the program "Škola na trećem". The results of the research can serve as a guideline for educational policies in providing a better quality of a possible future distance learning.

- Summary/Abstract:The process of monitoring, evaluation and assessment in the teaching process is a complex concept, and the specificity of the combined teaching model, additionally raises numerous and inexhaustible questions that are important to consider, because the activities performed by students in online teaching are not fully under the teacher's eye as it is the case in the classical teaching model, relatively in the classroom teaching. There are two important factors in assessment, in this context, student engagement is counts, which shows the regular execution of tasks, and the assessment of their actual knowledge. Furthermore, the combined model of teaching puts new challenges such as designing tasks, setting a timeline for the realization of these tasks, and defining the outcomes and ways on the basis of which students will be examined. In this research, the aim was to determine what changes have occurred in the process of monitoring, evaluating and assessment students, what difficulties teachers have encountered in the process, from which subjects it is most difficult to establish an objective assessment, and whether student success has changed in combined model of teaching in relation to the classical model of teaching. The obtained research results will serve as an insight into the current state of monitoring, evaluation and assessment of primary school students in Sarajevo Canton, will also initiate improvement in these aspects of the teaching process and will be an incentive to form criteria for assessing primary school students in Sarajevo Canton. At the same time it’ll be a significant type of noted document that will serve generations to come in the event of any extraordinary circumstances or similar teaching models.

- Summary/Abstract:Modern civilization requires from people certain skills that will make them more productive and valuable members of society. The group of these skills for the 21st century includes, among others, problem-solving and decision-making skills, learning and metacognition skills, critical thinking, communication skills with different cultures, teamwork, personal and social responsibility, creativity and innovation, digital literacy. The importance of the listed skills is reflected in the success of the individual in everyday life, as well as in the professional development and career in which he is engaged. The role of teachers in the process of 406recognizing and developing these abilities in students, especially at a younger school age, is immeasurably important. This task is not at all easy for a teacher, especially if we know that teachers are not sufficiently prepared for the process. Teachers themselves must possess and develop the listed abilities, in order to develop them in their students. The teacher is one of the key factors in the development of students' skills for the 21st century. The aim of this paper is to point out the problem of neglecting the development and encouraging the described skills in students, recognizing the causes of this problem and offering possible solutions to the existing problem. The paper describes examples of methodological procedures and ways of working, which the teacher can use to encourage the described skills in students. Some of the procedures described in the paper are: argumentation during the dialogue, creating your own tables of learning progress, conceptual analysis of the learning content, making information diagrams.

- Summary/Abstract:Subject My environment analyzes themes related to nature around us and society we’re living in. Students learn directly and gradually about natural and social phenomena and processes. Learning and teaching the content of my environment is realized primarily by learning from the authentic reality, observing all surroundings, describing and comparing, researching and collecting data through all the senses and drawing conclusions. Realisation of outdoor classes facilitates processes of the learning and understanding, because its goal is learning by first hand finding in authentic reality, in which students experience the natural and cultural environments, the people who live and have influenced to its. Outdoor classes encourage the fun of discovering, exploring and creating, affect creation of better relations in our educational group and stimulate intellectual abilities, desire to explore and better team-work. Our goal was to explore possibilities to implement outdoors classes of My environment teaching materials. We examined empirically positive effects of outdoor classes in both – learning new teaching materials and development of skills in our students, but also we identified some methodological difficulties in organizing these types of classes and activities. In examining possibilities of outdoor classes we also inquired feedback from students and participating teachers alike. We also reviewed positive impressions of our student’s about outdoor classes and inquired their opinions.

- Summary/Abstract:The paper presents the key competencies of teachers in complex distance learning. First of all, building those skills of teachers in accordance with IC technologies, planning, organization, and implementation of the teaching process in a virtual environment, but also a 452combination of work in a real environment - school classroom and the virtual environment -distance learning. The aim of the paper is to draw attention to the advantages of some of the models of work, the combination of methods and forms of work with students in a real and virtual environment, the importance of working on building personal competencies of teachers, their commitment to work, the need and desire to make the virtual classroom experience as efficient and purposeful as the experience in the real classroom, and to make both this time of abrupt transition and coping through distance learning effective in terms of improving teaching as well. This leads to the continuous development of teaching competencies, that is, the improvement of learning outcomes, which is in line with the requirements of international research. It is important to emphasize that on this path of building and/or upgrading the competencies of teachers, there are several obstacles that they can and/or cannot influence. Therefore, the paper points out possible ways of solving these obstacles. For some of them, a systemic solution is possible, but the subject of interest of the paper is the individual awareness of teachers themselves that lifelong learning and work on their own professional development is an imperative of time and the labor market. Finally, the paper points out the combination of the above proposals that can generate the expected good results and quality of distance learning.

- Summary/Abstract:Despite the fact that online learning and teaching has already occupied an increasingly important place as a trend in modern education in the last decade, the outbreak of the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus, made e-learning become the focus of scientific, educational and professional sectors as, currently, a necessary and indispensable model of the educational process. Despite the increasing use, e-learning and online teaching does not have a sufficiently and fully established, standardized and methodologically determined way of preparation and implementation that suits different situations and needs. By developing and improving various learning platforms, as a result of the development of information and communication technologies, an attempt to create a positive virtual environment for all participants in the 466teaching process that would fulfill the learning needs of students, as well as teachers' needs to realize planned contents, has been made. It represents educational strategies that combine specific teaching methods, all in an effort to achieve educational operational goals. This article will present some of the didactic aspects of online teaching, as well as the basic methodological procedures in the organization, design and implementation of online teaching, emphasizing some positive and negative effects. A comparative overview of the roles of the main actors of online teaching, students and teachers, as well as the correlative relationship between the educational goals of online teaching is also presented.

- Summary/Abstract:The transition from classical classes to online classes took place not only in primary and secondary schools, but also in universities. The simplest was achieved by those who tried and tested network teaching systems already before the time OF THE CIVIL-19. The pandemic shows that in just a few days life on the whole planet can undergo fundamental changes affecting all aspects of society. Therefore, everyone must have their vision and plan, but they must also develop the ability to react quickly and adapt to new situations. These changes clearly show the importance and importance of quality and timely preparation. For example, primary and secondary schools that had one week in online learning extended such education to a month 482or even a year. Faculties that have previously established online teaching systems continue to operate smoothly, while faculties are still dealing with them without prior experience. In this case, the future of education has a completely new meaning. However, the basic problem of this process is the result, which is the purpose of initiating and maintaining the process, and the progress and development of students that will be supported by legislation that will clearly define online learning. The complex education system and the transferred authority to the county education ministries clearly indicate the non-reciprocity of values within individual counties. If a balance in educational relations is to be achieved, it is necessary to actively operate and promote the values that will be maintained by the online system.

- Summary/Abstract:Digital competence is one of the most requested skills which includes, among other aspects, the use of technological, informational, multimedia, and/or communication skills and knowledge. Digital technologies have become an essential segment of life in the domain of 492learning, communication, business organization, and leisure. The ability to use them properly and to establish control over working with digital tools is one of the key competencies for the 21st century. The development of digital literacy is becoming an imperative of the time in which we live and work, along with the digitalization of society. Furthermore, it is a popular topic in academic and educational-political circles where the potential benefits of digital literacy for society and individuals are considered. In such circumstances, the importance of developing a competence that meets the requirements of a digital, networked and knowledgebased society is being pointed out, giving digital literacy the status of ‘life skill’, which along with reading and mathematical literacy, is becoming a “requirement but also a right”of all citizens ( OECD, 2001). In the context of education, the mentioned circumstances open several questions for educational policies and science, researchers and practitioners and lead to new knowledge and redefinition of the existing ones. Accordingly, this paper discusses what new skills and competencies are necessary for full participation in the digital society, what has led to redefining the concept of literacy, and how to develop new skills and competencies, i.e. digital literacy.

- Summary/Abstract:Due to the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus, the educational process has suffered changes that have resulted in school closures, students and teachers were concerned, inability to control the situation, and the transition to online classes. This was the first encounter with online forms of teaching for many, which was a major challenge for students, teachers and parents. Switching to online classes required a certain adaptation. With all this in mind, there are many obstacles and difficulties but also possibilities. Therefore, the primary problem was to test high school students’ attitudes about online teaching while the aim was to determine whether students were satisfied with a number of aspects of online teaching performed in schools such as: readiness for online teaching - using contemporary IKT tools, adoption of knowledge in an online environment, assessment modes, online teaching activity, all in the function of pointing out the benefits and shortcomings of online teaching. The results show that students do not have extremely positive or negative attitudes about online classes, with reference to the scale of attitudes about online classes, students express an average level of satisfaction with online classes, they expressed positive attitudes about evaluation in online classes, and pointed out the satisfaction with activities in the online environment, students said they were prepared for online classes, and that they have received enough knowledge. Considering gender, no significant differences were found in attitudes about online classes, while significant differences were found in the satisfaction for online classes when considering grades. Those who are more satisfied with the knowledge gained are students with better school success. The survey was conducted among 102 adolescents ages 16 to 19 in Tuzla canton area. The scale used was prepared for this research, with satisfactory reliability, and sociodemographic questionnaire. All of this indicates that students quickly adapted to the new changes thanks to the use of IKT tools before the pandemic and their desire for new challenges, those students who achieve good results at school have continued this practice in difficult occasions. In addition to certain negativity, there are also the benefits of this online teaching model.

- Summary/Abstract:Internet addiction takes on different forms and is an important issue for diagnostic and preventive reasons. This paper sets out to diagnose the scale of problematic use of Internet (PIU) in the context of symptoms and mechanisms of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). For this purpose, triangulation of the following research tools was applied: Social Media Intensity Scale, Fear of Missing Out Scale, Summary of Social Media Use, Social Media Usage Urges, and the Bergen Facebook Addiction Scale. To picture the scale of FOMO and accompanying PIU behaviors, data from 717 pupils in Sarajevo and Mostar cantons were collected. Based on this data, we can see that about 20% of young respondent (average age of 13 years) show several FOMO symptoms, whereas another 30% belong are at risk of being addicted to Internet. The remaining 50% of students are out of that risk. These criteria vary due to lack of unified tools to measure FOMO. However, it was determined that FOMO is minimized by some forms of leisure activity and does not depend on gender.

- Summary/Abstract:This paper discusses the impact of physical exercise on overall health. Physical or kinesiological activity is part of general upbringing and education, but still a large number of people are not aware of its importance. It is needed by both adults and children to strengthen, build coordination, self-confidence or lead a healthy life in general. Thanks to physical activity, bone-connective, neuromuscular and other organic systems are developed and maintained, so it is necessary to "dose" various forms of kinesiological activity in the right way. Inadequate determination of physical activity could, instead of positive ones, cause negative consequences for the organism. Civilizational "benefits" have resulted in hypokinesia, overweight, or nervous tension that is not conducive to either developing or maintaining the health of the population. In order to overcome the negative effects of a sedentary lifestyle, it is necessary to develop the habit of physical exercise, otherwise, as aresult of physical inactivity, even more chronic non-communicable diseases will occur, which are already the main cause of health problems in the developed world.

- Summary/Abstract:The education system is facing great challenges due to the unexpected epidemiological situation caused by the COVID-19 virus, which has hit the whole world. The aim of this research is to examine and determine the manner of implementation of online teaching of sports activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. 1000 students from the University of Sarajevo participated in the research. The method used is a survey questionnaire. Based on the obtained data, we can conclude that classes in sports activities are mostly realized online. 82.4% of students state that most teachers don’t perform sports activity exercises online, but only send certain theoretical assignments. Although 100% of the respondents believe that sports activities are important for health and that it is necessary to exercise at least 60 minutes a day, 61% believe that sports activities are less important than other subjects. 58.1% believes that the content of exercises from sports activities cannot be successfully realized online. 58.8% of respondents believe that the contents of exercises from sports activities can be realized at home. 77.9% of respondents believe that there are difficulties in implementation of the content of these exercises for those who live in an apartment. The students listed various difficulties they encountered. 45.5% of respondents believe that props for performing these exercises can be made and improvised in various ways. The contents of exercises from sports activities that the respondents believe cannot be realized online at home or in the apartment are martial arts, swimming, some natural forms of movement, athletics, sports games, rhythmic gymnastics, obstacle courses, most elementary games. 60.8% of respondents believe that the best way to implement online classes in sports activities is a live demonstration. It can be concluded that exercises from sports activities can be realized online, but that depends on the creativity of each teacher.

- Summary/Abstract:Movement maintains the vitality of the whole body. Regular physical activity, prolongs life and reduces mortality of the human population from chronic diseases. This trend can be 628especially noticeable in the age group of 50 to 70 years. Regular exercise, starting from school age, in addition to maintaining health, also helps in faster recovery after illness. However, the „amount“ of physical activity should - must be properly dosed. Inadequate „dosing” of physical activity has two opposites. In one case, this may delay the onset of the disease or the disease itself may have minor consequences for the human body. Otherwise, it can cause the onset of injury or illness. Therefore, a careful approach is needed, knowledge of how the human body functions, but also the etymology of various diseases. Education on movement dosing, requires the unity of different institutions in terms of providing conditions for exercise and movement of the entire population, as well as developing a strategy with clearly set goals. All of the above can significantly improve the health of the entire population.
