Summary/Abstract: The Department of Foreign Languages (ELTE University, Faculty of Arts) has been participating in the training of literary translators for more than 20 years. Courses were held in the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Romanian, and Polish. During the training, came the idea to compile a literary translators’ lexicon. Andrea Papp, Judit Vihar, and myself decided to edit the publication, of course, with the help of other colleagues. In my paper, I write about the editing principles, the research methods, and the planned deadlines. Being the editor of the Romanian part, I present the results achieved so far as well as the article on Lajos Áprily and Domokos Szilágyi.
