Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate the self-image of the 10-11 and14-15 years old Hungarian students in Transylvania. By comparing the two age groups, we wanted to find out what are the differences and similarities in their self-image, as well as whether there are differences between the self-characterization of students who come from different cultural and ethnic regions. The students' self-characterizations were analysed with the content analysis method.
