Summary/Abstract: The stress reaction dysregulation in high trait anxious individuals from the psychophysiological perspective represents an actual research problem. Aim of present study was to analyze the relationship between psychophysiological correlates of stress response with hardiness and coping strategies in high trait anxious individuals in comparison with control group. Participants were assigned to groups based on trait anxiety STAI scores. Acute stress conditions were created using psycho-social stress test (PSST), while skin conductance level (SCL), heart rate (HR) and skin temperature were measured simultaneously. Preffered coping strategies were surveyed by COPE questionnaire, hardiness by PVS questionnaire. Results and implications for future research are analyzed in the discussion.
