Summary/Abstract: In the realities of the Polish legal system, there is a noticeable tendency to adopt new, detailed legal acts (the so-called special acts) whenever there is an intention to implement an investment that is important in the opinion of its originators. One of such legal acts is the act on legal procedures concerning the construction of the Westerplatte Museum. As the project initiator explained, the basis for the enactment of this act was the assumption that the implementation of such an investment in the ordinary course could be too delayed. Taking this perspective into account, selected regulations of the special museum act were analyzed in the text of the study. The conclusion is that most solutions to the special museum act are conducive to streamlining the procedure for issuing a permit for a museum investment.
