Summary/Abstract: The report presents an approach for analysis of insured persons and accumulated funds, by gender and age, in pension funds from the second and third pillars of the pension system in Bulgaria for the period 2012-2021. For the purposes of this study, an approach for analysis of two indicators is illustrated – the ϕ 2 contingency coefficient of the insured persons in the pension funds from the second and third pillars of the pension system in Bulgaria, by gender and age, and the correlation coefficient of the relative growth of accumulated funds, by gender and age, in pension funds from the second and third pillars of the pension system in Bulgaria for the period 2012-2021.
