Summary/Abstract: The report examines the opportunities for financing through the capital market of the small and medium-sized enterprises in the country by analysing of the Bulgarian SME Growth market – BEAM (Bulgarian Enterprise Accelerator Market). In this context, the prerequisites for creation, the nature and specifics of the SME Growth market BEAM has been investigated. A comparative analysis of financing opportunities through the Main Market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange and the SME Growth market BEAM has been carried out, by comparison the criteria, procedures and stages for listing companies on both markets. The development trends of the BEAM market from its launch in early 2021 to the end of September 2023 have also been outlined.
