My Reflections on Wiesław Myśliwiecki

Summary/Abstract: The article has a form of the review of Wiesław Myśliwski’s book entitled “W środku jesteśmy baśnią” constituting a collection of author’s speeches and interviews. According to book’s originator - Jerzy Illga - collected texts are framed into "summa" of Myśliwski’s life and works. In the article, I refer to a number of constitutive themes for Myśliwski’s writings, i.e. family, eradication, language and view of the world, individual reception of His novels, nature and peasant’s culture. I amplify the reflections on the topic by quoting characteristic fragments of author’s speeches which in my belief mark His "Horizon" of crucial matters. In a certain sense, the review includes a catalog of quotes summarizing the themes in Myśliwski’s works.
