Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to presents opinions expressed by students of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce on the value of professional work in everyday life and the importance of a professional career. The theoretical approach to human labour, work as a value and career is presented. This is followed by a presentation of the methodology of the author’s own research along with an analysis of the results.
