Summary/Abstract: The research explores and analyses data from a questionnaire survey among respondents residing in the town of Bregovo (Vidin region), aiming to predict the potential future development of the language situation in the investigated area. The findings show that through the methodology of perceptual sociolinguistics, current processes in bilingual communities can be adequately represented, considering the particularities in the formation of bilingual attitudes.
