Summary/Abstract: The article examines the prospects for interdisciplinary integration in various aspects. The attitudes and experience of teachers of Bulgarian language and literature to implement interdisciplinary connections in their practice are presented. Approaches to learning through interdisciplinary connections for developing competencies are analyzed.
