Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the partial results of a pedagogical study carried out to identify the training needs of teachers and school counselors in Argeș, Alba, and Cluj Counties, in order to provide quality parental support, which will contribute significantly to the development of parents' skills and to the increase of family resilience. The objectives of the study refer to the design of a practical model of a continuous training program intended for preschool and primary education teachers, head teachers and school counselors focused on the facilitation of educational counseling activities and values-centered parental education programs. The results highlight the need to address the priority areas of family support and the most effective forms of educational intervention to increase family resilience and the quality of family life. The conclusions emphasize the joint pedagogical actions of educators and school counselors to improve parental skills, strengthen parental roles, and successfully pursue the family's educational function.
