Summary/Abstract: Today, more and more companies are interested in intangible investments and investment in human capital as a way to gain an advantage over the competition. Training and development can help a company’s competitiveness because they can directly increase a company’s value through a contribution to intangible assets. The role and place of training and education in the organization has changed significantly over time with changes in technology, the world of work and the environment of organizations. Education and training become an important instrument of proactive and adaptive action of business organizations in relation to the environment and necessarily grow into a general strategy for the development of the organization. Precisely the aim of this paper is to indicate how important employee education is as a segment of human resource management.
