Summary/Abstract: The modernization of the economy with the help of innovative methods, high-tech production and quality human capital should be the direction of any state policy. The labor market is extremely influenced by macro- and micro-economic factors, which requires to review not only the approaches and tools for human capital management, but also the attitude towards the staff in general. Human capital, as an economic category, has become one of the main concepts with the help of which it has become possible to describe and explain various economic processes through the prism of human interests and actions. Human capital is also one of the main factors for ensuring competitiveness and successful innovative development of any business organization. For this reason, investment in human capital is of utmost importance, as this process provides an important and long-term advantage to economic entities.
