Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the representation of Russian and Bulgarian precedent phenomena of Biblical origin with a ‘family member’ component in their structure (for ex. father, brother, wife, etc.) in Russian and Bulgarian linguoculture. The research studies precedent phenomena’s function as a part of the intertextual thesaurus core of both languages. It compares their origins, original and contemporary meaning.
