Summary/Abstract: Internet meme is a cultural phenomenon which spreads across the Internet, primarily through social media platforms. It is commonly used as an opportunity to participate in internet trends or to be considered as a part of certain cultural society. The article studies how internet-meme can be used as language teaching instrument during Russian language classes to motivate students and to improve their studying and memorizing skills.
