Summary/Abstract: In this study we want to observe the evolution of language by analyzing language as An austerius monk, practical theologian and spiritual father, Saint Theodore the Studite has been recognized by posterity as one of the greatest organizers of Eastern cenobitic monasticism, being compared by his disciples to Saint Basil the Great. Since the beginnings of the cenobitic monasticism in the Eastern Ortohodoxy, there have been specific times when he prior addressed his monks with exhortations whose essential purpose was to explain the word of God and spiritual growth. The frequency of the words addressed by the prior to the monks of Studion Monastery is inspired by this practice.Catecheses reveal the greatness of this dignity, but also the burden it implies. The burden consisted in the fact that the abbot had to adapt to the temperaments of his numerous monks and avoid the danger of treating them uniformly. The abbot assisted each in their striving for perfection and, in order to adapt to the needs to the needs of each, he must know them in depth.
