Summary/Abstract: This article presents the results of an analysis of a number of poems by M. I. Tsvetaeva,in which the image of the hero of the ancient Greek myth Orpheus plays either a plot-forming role or ismentioned to confirm certain ideas. The results obtained during the analysis make it possible to clarify a number of important characteristics of the image of the poet, as M. I. Tsvetaeva imagines him.
