Summary/Abstract: This article examines translation of ethnographic realia from Russian into Bulgarian and from Bulgarian into Russian language. These realia represent national cultural specificity. The observation is on the base of the texts in culturology. The author analyzes different transformations in realia translation as a creative process of searching for adequate and precise equivalents.
