Summary/Abstract: The paper makes a brief characterization of the dystopian novel. It refers to dystopian prose in the Republic of Moldova,with references to international literature. The author concludes that, in this country, while dystopia is not represented by whole novels, it does feature in many novels in a fragmentary manner.
