Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to reveal some dimensions of high school and university students’ locus of control. The main results from a survey conducted among a group of 68 high school students from the two schools in Bourgas and a group of 49 students from the Bourgas Free University have been discussed. Most of the high school and university students demonstrate internal locus of control. The latter is associated with higher academic achievements. The students coming from well off families demonstrate internal locus of control compared to the students from families with less economic resources.
