Summary/Abstract: This article is a first attempt at a more detailed presentation of the manuscript of the German-Bulgarian dictionary by Geo Milev, completed in 1916, and its print edition from 1940, re-vised by Dimitar Stoevski and published by Ivan Koyumdzhiev, in the context of other bilingual dic-tionaries with German and Bulgarian from the same period. This paper is a modest contribution to the study of the history of bilingual lexicography for German and Bulgarian.
