Summary/Abstract: Using opportunities provided by the Project № BG051PO001-3.3.06-0045 and e-learning platform Moodle, a web-based course in Botany 2 (part Systematics of Algae and Fungi) was developed for students-bachelors in the Faculty of Biology of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. The positive sides of e-learning were presented in relation with learning of specific bo-tanical terminology in Latin and Bulgarian language.
