Characteristics Affecting Housing Prices in Kalisz

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the characteristics of flats and the way they affected housing prices in Kalisz in the years 2006-2014. The author pays attention to the differentiation of residential properties, which causes further segmentation of the real estate market. The characteristics and prices of over 2,000 sold flats have been analysed and - using econometric modelling - the impact of the characteristics of the flats on their prices has been estimated.
