Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the phenomenon of migration as an area of influence of place marketing, which involves attracting prominent residents to the site. Authors pay particular attention to the activities of suburban communes aimed at attracting urban population. The scale of the phenomenon of internal migration and its possible causes (e.g. location and price attractiveness of real estate) and effects (such as the number of completed apartments) have been identified.
