Summary/Abstract: Modern societies change under the influence of new technologies. This affects the situation of people with disabilities. For this environment, modern media and IT solutions can be a chance to be fully mainstreamed in social life. This requires the use of potential in these technologies by people with disabilities. Their absence from the Internet is due to the lack of access to new technologies or the ability to use them, causing the area to become another area of social exclusion of this social category. This is particularly important today as we deal with the evolution of web technology. Web 2.0, especially social networking sites, creates a new field for integrating people with disabilities into society. In this regard, the primary purpose of this chapter will be to show the meaning that social networking sites play for the social inclusion of people with disabilities in the present.
