Summary/Abstract: Thе research (a part of a larger task) is about the study of the language shape of Brazilian Indians of the XVIth century, compiled by using informative texts written in that period of time: direct testimonies of Portuguese explorers, sailors, colonizers and Jesuit missionaries about and from the newly discovered Brazilian territory; the peculiarities of the linguistic reflection of such a general notion as “nudity”, the reference and manipulation of which is purposefully serving the imperial colonization policy in one or another direction (often radically opposite but always related to the ultimate goal of gaining power). On the basis of the interpretation of the nudity, are imposed extreme samples of existence of the Brazilian native, explaining to the world the specifics of the Portuguese policy, followed in the XVIth century, aiming at supremacy and obedience.
