Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the problem of using the games and gaming techniques in literature lessons in working with children with special educational needs. The author describes the difficulties that pupils experience in studying literary texts, gives examples of game techniques that help pupils with special educational needs to learn and understand literary texts. It reveals the functions of gaming activities, as well as the development objectives of pupils that are achieved in gaming activities.
