Summary/Abstract: This article examines the problem of intercultural competence’ formation at the students in the process of initial pedagogical training. The author considers the problem of intercultural competence’s formation from the standpoint of the task approach, as one of the modern ones, ensuring the formation of all the constituent components of intercultural competence. This approach is ensured by the practical implementation and development of necessary knowledge, skills, and value attitudes as a basic component of intercultural competence
