Summary/Abstract: This article discusses the issues of conjuring love, disappointment, giving andreceiving. In the personalistic view of Karol Wojtyła, the phenomenological conceptsof D. von Hildebrand or J. Pieper, the existential conception of G. Marcel or thepsychoanalytic conception of E. Fromm love has an exceptional sense in view of itsability to change human life. The above examples of narrative expose overmarkcertain impoverishment which degrade human being. The suggested solution is thepromotion of love and the necessity of parenting down love.
