Summary/Abstract: The article describes the works of Zofia Rogoszówna, placing her children’s stories and stories about children in the perspective of feminine studies. The key question refers to possible connections of the writer’s works with the ideas of the early Polish feminist movement. The answer to this question is positive. Rogoszówna disclosed violence incorporated into the patriarchal social order in various manners. The model she proposes, of an independent and humanitarian stand, reflecting her ideal of femininity, is illustrated in the feminine character types created in her work.
